The research project “InterMoDe: Designing the municipal intermodal mobility system” starts into the second phase! The joint project of the city of Offenbach and the HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design (Prof. Dr. Kai Vöckler, Prof. Peter Eckart) will be funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research for another three years after the one-year pilot phase and positive evaluation of the main application. During this time, an overarching design concept for integrating intermodal mobility into the municipal transportation system will be developed. To this end, the project team at HfG Offenbach is developing dynamic 2D and walk-through interactive 3D visualizations (virtual reality) with the aim of identifying transferable design guidelines in a co-creative process.
