11 March, 2019 – Peter Eckart, Professor of Integrated Design at the HfG, and Julian Schwarze, research assistant, were guests at the India Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee with a workshop on Mobility Design. The event was organized by the Design Innovation Center.

After a welcome by Prof. Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi, Director of the IIT Roorkee, the topic was “Campus Mobility”. More than 40 participants, including students and lecturers from various IIT disciplines and six design students from the HfG Offenbach, took part in the workshop. The event was accompanied and supported by Prof. Manoranjan Parida (Dean SRIC), Prof. Apurbba Kumar Sharma (Coordinator, Design Innovation Center), Prof. P. S. Chani (Head of the Architecture and Planning Department) and Prof. Gaurav Raheja (Workshop Coordinator, Design Innovation Center).

The workshop aimed to bring together international design know-how on the subject of campus mobility. Five key sessions were organized, from design process to design visualization to design research.
