As part of the LOEWE research cluster IDG /project-mo.de the “Environmental Mobility Hub” project was completed. The aim of the project was to conduct a comprehensive potential analysis for a new mobility platform. The novelty of the mobility platform is that it combines vehicle sharing with a carpooling and ride-sharing function and is geared to the needs of residential neighborhoods in medium-sized centers. Together with the project partners, the city administration of Rüsselsheim am Main and the startup Carré Mobility, a comprehensive survey of residents in a selected neighborhood and an emissions calculation were carried out.

A small teaser of the results: approx. 2/3 of the respondents stated that they would use the solution if it existed in the immediate vicinity of their home. In addition, statements could be made about the preferred combination of functions and the effects of such a solution, among other things. More info at http://www.relut.de/.
